i read of some rf bugs with the a680, but has the software update fixed them? or do you think it is better to wait it out for a new phone to come along?

i don't know what causes the RF bugs in samsungs, but in the last couple years, all of them have done it...even my A500 had the same issue, on the 5th revision of software...don't hold your breath.

what about the new generations of samsungs, i heard that there is basically an a660 with an outer lcd coming out, should i expect those to have the same problems?

the rf bug that bell acknowledges relate to PRL list not hasing correctly with some telus towers, like in kelowna, fort mcmurray.. i've done some of the flashing of the new software for the a680 and a660, and it has helped in those areas, but i'm not sure if there'd be any significant improvement in other areas. oddly enough, the a600, a460 does not fall into the category of this hashing issue.
