I dont know if anyone else has this problem. I manually turn off GPRS connection by holding down the home key and selecting the option. About a half hour later I will check my phone and the connection is on again. Has anyoone else experienced this, battery life is already a concern of mine considering I text message a lot. Thanks.

are you checking email via the WAP with the phone? if you set it to check email every hour, etc., then the small "G" will appear when it's connected to the web. i had my email pushed to my phone (MPx220) and had a constant small "G" without a significant increase in battery drain...
