In anticipation of my SMT5600 I'm thinking about getting a mini-SD card. Do any of you share your memory between the phone and your digital camera? Does it pose any compatibility problems?
Also if any SMT5600 users can chime in... What do you put on your mini-SD card? Does having to remove the battery to access the card pose a hassle and keep you from using mini-SD as much as you want.

I don't know about SMT5600 but i know that i've been sharing my 512 mini-SD [Ridata] with my digicam and it posed a problem once: it erased all of my music (i think it was my fault for taking it out of the digicam with the camera on and ready to snap another pic). After that time it hasn't done it again even when i switch back and forth.

I have a Sandisk 256mg MiniSD card in my 5600 and it's like using a flash memory card in a PDA. Running apps off it is seamless and you can save pictures, Mp3's, maps and video to it as well. For some applications you will need to make sure files are in the right folders (ex.- you need to make a 'my documents' folder and certain files need to be in there to be viewable).
I have installed close to 25 additional apps to my 5600, almost all to the MiniSD. Plus around 15 mp3's with a couple playlists, maps for Pocket Streets (connected to a bluetooth GPS receiver- very cool!) and some video clips in .wmv format. I still have 21mg of free internal space and 140mg free on the card.
Good luck and Enjoy the phone!
