could i install an different lcd form a different phone and improve the lcd quality? like from a newer phone? or even a diff manufacturer?

i ve tried a k700 in t630 and it didnt work and vice versa ,they have the same connectors so it was easy swap, using other manufac LCD would involve to much hard work for me and i would say woudnt be worth it.

id love to see t630 with p800 screen lol.

I'm about to do a T610 to T630 screen conversion too, would also like a guide if it's available....anyone?

Got the T630 firmware, my toolkit, screen and my trusty old T610.

I'm taking a bit of a chance actually since I have a little bit of 'bleed' in the screen where I took off the plastic coating (was a nightmare to remove it) so a guide would be really helpful!

I'm hoping that once the phone boots up the bleed will dissipate. Wish me luck

I had a replacement sent to me afterwards and it's installed

Haven't actually completed the full upgrade so now I have a T610/T630 'Hybrid'....I'll explain:

Installed the T630 TFT Screen and used the body from my white T630 housing kit (the housing was good quality but fake nonetheless even though I was told it was OEM

) and since the keypad that came with it was inferior quality too I've decided to keep the T610 housing (got an Abyss Blue set arriving shortly to match the T630 Dark Grey body). Flashed it all to T630 (ARM, AVR and GDFS) though so although it looks just like a T610 with a better body, it's still technically a T630!

I'm keeping the body and can't be bothered putting all my mic, earpiece etc back into my old T610 Body tbh. Should look nice when it's done...will post a pic
