Best SideKick II price with data only plan?

I'm looking for a SideKick with the $30 data only plan. The online deals I've seen that make it free with rebate require a voice plan.

The best I've found is $250 through T-Mobile with "instant rebate" or $150 with rebates through a 3rd party but you don't get all the rebates and you face a $250 charge back if you don't send them a bill after 6 months.

Right now I'm inclined to get it directly from T-Mobile because it's less hassle and the return policy if I don't like it.

Any better deals out there?

I was looking at the same deal before I bought my SK2 on 3/22/05.

I checked out Amazon and A1wireless. A1 was the only one I could find with a DATA ONLY contract, but I don't think they offer it anymore.

Due to the fact I never had used a SK2, I bought a ToGo SK2 from the T-Mobile retail store. It was more expensive, but the satisfaction of taking it back ASAP if I was not happy with service or device was worth it to me. It was $329 with a $50 mail-in rebate.

i paid $125 for my sidekick and i get the $50 rebate so in total i will have paid $75 and i got that from tmobile store here.

i got it on the 18th of this month and my friend went to get one a week later and they charged her $175 it was a one week promotion but she still got he $50 mail in rebate. I also got the callin plan with it cuz i needed a new phone my lg phone from verizon was *** cuz everyone had one after a year i had it

Hey all! This situation sounds very much like my own problem way back when. I found the best way to go was at let's talk. Com. They had the best deal on the SK2 with a 250.00 price tag (with 50.00 back) and the data only plan. To this day I could'nt be happier.

As for what I have heard A1wireless.com is back up and running the data only plan. I guess it is not as plain as day anymore, but I might suggest prepaid man, especially if you are going to just use data.

you can look on ebay for a used one and activated it prepaid, I bought mine of these forums for $185 shipped. so there are good deals all around.
