Nokia 3120b - Does built-in IM work elsewhere?

I recently acquired a Nokia 3120b and unlockeked the phone so I could use it with T-Mobile. The phone works fine unlocked and I managed to change the GPRS settings to work with T-Mobile, but the "built-in" IM program (i.e., from the Main Menu, select "IM)") doesn't seem to work for any of the carriers (AIM, Yahoo, ICQ).

Are those built-in IM programs specific to ATT/Cingular, or can I tweak some setting to make them work with T-Mobile?

I don't think it will work. When I change from the 6010 to the 3120b, the IM doesn't work anymore.

For some reason the IM won't work even when I put the original T-Mobile SIM card back in my Nokia 6010. I was wondering why it stopped working; I guess the Cingular SIM messed up the GPRS settings somehow.

You can always use SMS-to-IM.
