I need to know how to send files to MMC from his ngage qd. there are files on ngage qd that are on the phones that are on the phones memory which i need to send to his 128 mmc, how do i do that ?

please guys, simpe question - some mp3 i send to the qd via bluetooth, it stores it in the inbox in messages, and takes phones memory, now how do i change it to take MMC's memory instead ????

Get a file manager and use it to cut and paste the mp3s to the memory card (such as seleq, fexplorer ...etc).
Or just get a memory card reader which is pretty cheap these days.

Yeah i tried that before, got fexplorer, i cut and pasted it from messages/inbox to to E: (which is the mmc, and sounds folder. Now, i do not know how to access that folder through main menu, and better yet, now the ultramp3 cannot even DETECT it! it used to when it was in inbox (phones mem) now when i pasted it to MMC's sound folder, it doesn't detect the file anymore.

Somebody figure out some way to play mp3's from the MMC, please, i got him into buying QD, now he's abusing it and very annoyed with it

for ultramp3 to play mp3's from the mmc, as i understand it, you have to put the mp3's in the root folder on the mmc...

don't kill me if i'm wrong, it's been a long time since i owned a QD...

Do a search on google for a little app called MSVDriveE.sis .It sets the inbox to be on the mmc. Its free but pretty hard to find, so drop me a pm if you can't find it.

that program has a change of screwing up your phone thou..so u suggest u to be careful

just use a card reader

Not if you use the version meant for your phone. I used it without any problems on the ngage(using the ngage version) and 3230(using the 6260 version).

Now i got fexplorer program, installed it on QD. Through it i cut the mp3 from the messages folder and paste it on E drive - sounds folder (e: is the MMC) now the problem is, ultra mp3 won't play/detect the song now!!

So any of you guys with a QD and an MMC and are playing some mp3's can you tell me please how to work this out, are there any any toher mp3 players out there than can detect mp3's on MMC ??
meanwhile, i'll try searching for msvdrive and see if that works and install it on his phone when he comes to my house sometime next weekend.

Have you tried putting the files on the root folder of the MMC?
(in the E drive, not in the sounds folder just in the root folder)

yeah i checked today, there is no root folder. no root folder on the MMC.
i don't know what i should do. I'll just try some other mp3 apps see id those pick up the song from the MMC.
if anyones got a solution please post.

K try this:
Go to where the mp3 file is and press options --> cut
then go to the screen where it displays the drives (C, E, ....)
then just select the the MMC drive (E drive) (dont open it) and press options ---> paste
That should work

Ahh you might want to 1st COPY the file before you cut it out of where it is. IF not you cant paste, lol.

Ummmm yea you can

Cut: Remove the selected items and copy them to the Clipboard.
Copy: Copy the selected items to the Clipboard.
Paste: Insert the contents of the Clipboard at the selected location.
its pretty simple ..
