Can someone give me a definite answer on this. I keep getting different answers. Please reply if you know for sure.

Can the i530 take wav ringtones? What about polyphonic, etc?

Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Anyone in the know on this?

Wirelessly posted (Supersmart i860: MOT-A-1C/01.01 UP.Browser/7.0.0.2.c.1.104 (GUI) MMP/2.0 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

U can load only midis. Webjal works good.

the processor in the phone can only handle single notes which is what midi is. it cant handle multiple instuments and noise that a wav or mp3 can handle. like a pop or a rock song. only single note midi files.

Thanks guys. How do I know if a midi is in the proper (type 0) format. I've tried many midis and get the general communication error. I believe that is because of improper format. Is there any way to be sure that they are the right format from the getgo so you don't waste your time on ones that won't work because they are the wrong format?
