Gx - 32 or Gx 30

Hi guys,

Firstly let me introduce my situation -

Ive had a gx22 for a year and 1/2 before someone took the liberty of stealing it, this really upset me because i was very fond of the phone (CGS really makes the jaw drop). After that ive been researching a new phone and im converted to sharp so it really limits my options. After months of waiting and researching i was never able to find out if the gx 40 will be coming out or if it even exist for that matter. So ive decided to either buy the sx813 or gx32 but i just really need some clarity with the gx32 because i have been reading alot of mixed reviews. And also sites really just copy from each other and dont really understand the significant changes from a gx30, gx30i and gx32. But my focus is on the gx32 because I HATE THE VODAFONE brandings.

1. Does the gx32 have bluetooth restrictions?
2. What are the limitations on file size transfers through bluetooth (if it allows it)?
2. Does the gx32 allow mp3 ringtones?

The reason i would prefer the gx32 over the sx813 is $$$$ and also the shear size of the sx813.

I apoligise if these topics have been discussed before but i would really appreciate your feed back.

Many Thanks
(ps is the gx-40 on sharps agenda :P)

Hey to answer your questions:

1) Yes the GX32 does have bluetooth limitations. Very major ones in fact.. You can only use BT to pair with a bluetooth headset, thats it. If you want to transfer sounds, or ANYTHING for that matter, you NEED a SD card reader.. you put the SD card in the reader, put your files on there, and hope they work.

2) See above, you cannot transfer files through bluetooth

3) The GX32 doesn't allow mp3 ringtones, you have to convert them to another format first.

Keep in mind these restrictions apply to the GX32, the GX30 has even more restrictions. A notable restriction for the GX32 (and probably GX30) is that you can't play all mp3s. You can play ones that are constant bit rate. I put about 100 songs on my SD card, and I could play maybe 40 of them because the rest were newly encoded and used variable bit rate...

If I were you I would get the SX813... It's not that much bigger, if the GX30 is fine, the SX813 is only millimeters bigger. If you're into colors, then get the 902SH unlocked... it will be cheaper off eBay. But if you hate vodafone branding, then stick with the SX813. Good luck!

ok thanks.

Ive been doing soooo much research i feel im getting more confused and my mind cannot be made up .

but alas i phone that has grabbed my attention (again ) and will be a guarantee purchase is the GX-T300, the unbranded smartone version of the tm200.

But the problem is i cant find it anywhere (except on one new zealand online shop ---> http://www.studentshop.co.nz/mobile...ls.php?pid=4105 , but they dont ship world wide). Any links (trusted sites would be greatly appreciated).

MANY MANY thanks
