1) Yes the GX32 does have bluetooth limitations. Very major ones in fact.. You can only use BT to pair with a bluetooth headset, thats it. If you want to transfer sounds, or ANYTHING for that matter, you NEED a SD card reader.. you put the SD card in the reader, put your files on there, and hope they work. 2) See above, you cannot transfer files through bluetooth 3) The GX32 doesn't allow mp3 ringtones, you have to convert them to another format first. Keep in mind these restrictions apply to the GX32, the GX30 has even more restrictions. A notable restriction for the GX32 (and probably GX30) is that you can't play all mp3s. You can play ones that are constant bit rate. I put about 100 songs on my SD card, and I could play maybe 40 of them because the rest were newly encoded and used variable bit rate... If I were you I would get the SX813... It's not that much bigger, if the GX30 is fine, the SX813 is only millimeters bigger. If you're into colors, then get the 902SH unlocked... it will be cheaper off eBay. But if you hate vodafone branding, then stick with the SX813. Good luck! |
