Originally posted by Mr Pink57 The sk2 is definately a FUN device, however if you are a business professional it just can not get the job done. I have never had a dropped call since I use it only for data and the one call I did made, the phone felt weird against my ear. I guess its what you want to use it for that will really matter. Give us a little insight, on day to day use. pink |

Originally posted by sparty569 I have been thinking about getting a sidekick again, just for data. I had a SKI for a week, loved the hell out of it, but not being able to make a call pist me off. So I cancelled Tmo, sold my SKI and went to verizon. I am curious as to if the SKII is a solid phone, do people have to return them alot, does it get better RF than the SKI? I made a spread sheet comparing Verizon with $45 unlimited, a Sidekick with $30 unlimited and a Sidekick with $30 unlimited - $80 for VZW text and mobile web and - $5 for VZW insurance ($17). Well, after 2 years, the prices are $1080 for VZW, $999 for the Sidekick, and $687 for the PAYG sidekick after I subrtact text message/mobile web and insurance from my VZW account. I want to do this, but am really unsure as to how much I will use it. I dont know, I have some thinging to do I guess. I have attached the spreadsheet I made. Please everyone, let me know what you think |

Originally posted by sparty569 I really wont be using it for business use. It would be for IM, internet access, text messages and my personal e-mail. I am keeping VZW for my voice plan, just want something a little cheaper than VZW offers for data. I had the SKI and I loved it, even though I only had it for a week, so I know I would love the SKII. |
