I'm trying to learn about xmacro's. The guys at xetra have suggested an Xmacro would accomplish what I'm trying to do... dial a number on power connect or power disconnect.

Does anyone here know of a good resource where I can find info about these xmacros? I'm not finding many details ...

I want it to dial the codes for Fastforward, then the number to forward to, then press talk. as I understand it, xmacro could simulate pressing these buttons, which would give me the effect. I'd rather set a .lnk to a dialer program or such, but haven't found a way to do that either... if this xmacro works, it would be worth the trouble, but I just haven't found much info on how to use xmacro.

I believe an xmacro is a tool the C++ lanuage. So basically you are going to have to write code for a program for this to work. If you want to know how to do all of this you should go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/.../windowsmobile/
and with some searching you can find out how to develop your own program....you need to understand C++ and maybe the compact .NET framework. Gook luck.
