how to switch carrier of my Kyocera 2135

My cricket cell phone went swimming and no longer works. I have a Kyocera 2135 that I want to use, but it has a different carrier. How can I switch the carrier to cricket?

you will need to have a data cable and the PRL file, also you will need the software interface for Kyocera phones, then you will need inside access to cricKet to get the ESN switched over.
At least that is how it works in my area. Cricket has begun activating phones from other CDMA carriers but you still have to go through the procedure outlined above. It would be better and easier to just buy a new cricket phone on eBay.
