Hey, I'm new to the forums, but I did a lot of searching and couldn't find out how to change my slider back to virgin mobile. Is it even possible?

I know I changed the serv. code to 000000. Does that affect the service? Cause I signed up to virgin mobile and canceled my verizon account, but the phone won't work right. When I dial out, verzion msg pops up saying it'll direct me to an operator. I need some help guys!! Thx.

When you signed up for Verizon you overwrote the Virgin Mobile PRL saved on the phone with a Verizon one. The PRL tells the phone which towers to use. That is why you are still getting Verizon even though you may have already programmed it for VM again.

What you will need is three things:

1. A computer with they Kyocera PST software
2. A data cable for your slider
3. The Virgin Mobile PRL

You can get 1. by searching the forum or google, 2. from ebay, and 3. is most likely in NAM2 on the phone

What you would basically do is use the PST to download the VM PRL off of NAM2 which would not have been changed by Verizon most likely. Then you would upload it back to the phone into NAM1. This should solve your problem. If you want more detailed instructions, get ahold of number 1 & 2 and let me know. If you need the Virgin Mobile PRL, let me know.
