Please can anyone help me with the following ? My mother gave me her motorola mpx220 which she previouslu used for about two months. Therefore, I want to change the phone settings according to me. I have a problem when I use the ActiveSync that when syncronizing it appears my mother's name, and I want to change that. What's more, while using bluetooth, when my friends seek for active bluetooth again it appears my mother's name, and I want to change that. I think that both come from the same configuration, but I can't find it. Plase can anyone help me?

It might be the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Ident\Name

I can't find that folder. Where's that? Is it in the phone? cause i think that is probably a phone setting which I can't find..

you need a smartphone registry editor like smartione or PHM

make sure you know what you are doing though!

you could always do a hard reset and erase everything. It will bring the phone back to what it was like when she bought it.

Thanks for your help. If I reset the phone... will it automatically work correctly? Or specific settings are needed? Cause I might not know the corect settings, for the phone to work correctly in argentina.

It's not a folder, it's a registry key. The webpage below explains about the registry.
