Well I am having to get my phone exchanged. It will not charge or connect to my PC. After calling Cingular they are going to do an exchange but they do not have any stock, so they are doing a direct ship from Moto with a new phone. I am just wondering has anyone heard some news on the firmware. I just hope Moto has some stock.

Yea that is what I am thinking but at least I can hope. Nice thing is that they are shipping out next day air out for me with no charge since it is on back order.

SO,iam confused whether to get the phone from any store &download the new ROM when it's available or wait till it is released with the new one??What do you think?

They are sending me a new MPx 220 with the new firmware in 2 weeks. They put me on a list and gave me a confirmation number. So I am sure it will be available to download from the site near the end of May.. I only asked to have one shipped to compare the differences and see if there are really any improvements between the two ROM's.

I would wait for the download unless you want to deal with XBM and trust me you don't...its a mess.

The choice is yours weather to upgrade your phone yourself when its available at hellomoto.com or get one from XBM.
