yo, i have a e398 when eva i download a new skins it usually consists of 1 .ski file and 3-4 .dat files, when i upload it to my phone the skin is always messed up , usually the icons do not appear. but when i download a skin with alot of .dat files e.g teh moto original skin, i would look perfect. Is there any program that splits the .dat files into more files???? is there any one who currewntly faces this problem. thanks in advance

Sounds like you are triying to replace the moto skin with a basic skin (skins without all of the icons) try replacing neon or techno or you could use motomodders P2K commander to create a new skin directory. Just download it at motomodders.net you have to register but it free and a great site for moto phones a free skins.

hye thanks for the reply, but i aint trying to copy over the moto skin, i have also created the skin directroy, but whats the diffrence between the skins with 3 .dat files and the skins with loads of .dat files??????

5. TransilvaniaAB (this skins is fine)
6. WinXP (makin' my phone restart, but i have uninstaled)
7. XPBlue (makin' my phone restart, but i have uninstaled)
8. XPSilver (makin' my phone restart)
9. windowsmediaAb (this skins is fine)

after that, my E398 Phone is always restaring, if i pick/select the original motorola Skin (moto,neon and techno).......
and some of these skins too............
