I wonder if anybpody has found a way to pump up the volume on a BT headset yet. I've looked through most of post and can;t find anything about a seem update or anything. I'm using a moto 820 headset W\a Razr but the volume is to soft. I know thier has to be a way to do this but I just can;t find it.

BTW... Other than the volume issue I love the 820. Most pepole can;t tell i'm on a headset or a cell for that matter.

You won't find a seem edit for this. You need to increase voltage for this to happen and you can't do that with a seem edit. You can, however, buy a Jabra BT-250 and not have to worry about volume... It's plenty loud. The Moto headsets aren't good for anything! Not even a paperweight!

A friend of mine bought a HS850 and said that it was alot louder than his HS810.

I am hearing impared (I wear two digital hearing aids) and the volume of the HS-850 is fine for me without a hearing aid so it must go plenty loud enough.

thanks for the info on the voltage....news to me.... I'll look for it on my next headset.

If that is the case then how is it that I can turn the volume up and down fine on the headset using the keys on the phone?

I'm thinking along the lines of theyoshi. If you edit gaintable.bin on the phone wouldn't that increase the volume on your headset?

my jabra bt250 is so loud, I have to keep it at level 2 on the phone! I've already upped the earpiece volume to 5 by editing my gain_table.bin file

I did edit the gain_table.bin, but the only increase was on the earpiece on the handset not on the bt820. I changed offset OD from 01 to 05. Is thier a another off set i need to change?

once my bt headset is turned on, it takes place of the earpiece so essentially it is above the default volume settings.
