Yesterday at about noon I got the new HTML browser. Yesterday at about 1p I lost the new HTML browser...and my email. I have not had either back since then. I have gone through I do not know how many calls today and then finally one of them said there was an outage. Is she yanking my chain for an excuse for why she can't fix it or is there really an outage.

Is anyone else having problems here in Ohio (I do believe it is regional)?

The outage was over at approx 1730 yesterday.

There are several things you can do.

1. Do a master radio reset then take the battery out, wait 1 min, then put it back in.

2. Log onto the BWC and have it resend your service books.

3. Reregister your handheld > Options, Host routing table, Click wheel, select register handheld.

4. Call CC and ask to reset your IP. (You will have to wait 24hrs for it to reset for this option)

Try 1-3 first. The call CC.

(If you subscribe to Telenav, cal thier CS. They will get you to a nextel support rep that is higher than tier 3 CS. Telenav has a direct line to the top support)

I went throight 3 hours of calls and all the way to level 3 and no one fixed it. I called Telenav, they confrenced called nextel and it was working in 5 minutes.

I started calling at 0830 yesterday, then again at 2pm when my email did not come back after "30 minutes" from the earlier phone call. I had my web client account recreated (twice) and then at the 6pm phone call she tells me there was an outage. How come nobody knew about that earlier??? I still did not get any resolution from that call. A little later on I called and had them reset the IP, then I did the other things like radio reset, re register, etc and email came back (thank you Nextel BB tier 2 for all your help). Then the last phone call at 930pm to delete all the service books and resend to get the HTML browser back.

What a fiasco.
