Can't backup phone memory to MMC

Yesterday, I tried backing up on my phone memory to the MMC card. I did this via Tools --> Memory. The backup would almost finish but then terminate with the message: System Error: Memory. I already performed a Soft Reset without any change. It's a 128 MB MMC card and it has 17 MB free so it can't be an MMC card issue. The phone memory is also half empty so that can't be the cause either.

I've done backups before and they would always work.

hmmm...i think it might have something to do with your mmc...try formatting it...

If you use Fexplorer then goto E:\Backup\Backup.arc. 1)Cut and paste Backup.arc to another folder.Then try to Backup phone memory to mmc card.If no success then undo the 1st point.If yes then delete the old backup.arc file.

The problem is that no backup.arc file is even generated. The E:\Backup folder is empty.
