After flashing out my phone with the MP v3 and i manually master reset it and turns out that the sound has gotten really softer. the vol level is at 7. wondering what the cause. gonna reflashing it back and stop doing master reset. hehe Well, i was under the impression master rest on the phone was fine. Master clear is a known issue and will be fixed latter on. |

...................just wanna help out | I recommend PST version 7 or above. I once tried to use 6 and it didn't work as well for me on my machine, drivers kept gettting screwed up or something. If you have 6 working on your machine then thats fine. |

For those who are gettin sick of this voice record thingie., D/l the attatched file. OPen p2ktools v0.7.1.9 and click on the seem editor tab. Access your phone's 005B_0001 seem through it. Click open file and open the downloaded seem. Click write to phone. Restart phone. |

Ok thnx to Vo i've edited my Vocie recording guide n i've just tested some different options n it's bad news When you change the Smart key mapping in the 005B seem it over-rides the phone's set function so even if you followed the mma editing part of my guide ( the now deleted part of my guide since it doesnt work) as Vo has brought to notice you DONT get to assign the smart key to anything else anymore even though the option to do so shows up in the Personalize>Homescreen>Home keys>Smartkey menu I did a bit of testing and i couldnt get it to work .... by keeping the Smart key as customizable i tried to assign Voice Dial to smart key but then for some reason Voice Record doesnt work so the way i see it is : If you assign the Smart key as Voice Dial/Record key through the 005b seem you lose the ability to change it to anything else.Doesnt matter if the option to customize it shows up in the Personalize menu. The 005b overides what you can select through the phone. Which is why i have deleted the mma editing portion in my guide. Sorry to anybody else who has experienced any frustration ! Cheers PS: No need to wait Vo hehe use short-cuts that's what i do ... i used to use the smart-key for short-cuts but i find menu+1, etc easier n plus i still keep the Voice Recording ability

When i press [create new email] in the emailmessages menu,nothing happens (i can receive emails though).the same happens when i aproach this part from the "New message" menu. Fortunately,its in ukrainain language mode,works while in english,so no big deal
So, in my mind and others, let this MP become a beautiful, less customization and easy MP as it is a FULL MP version. To whom that want to customize it to the max, choose MP LITE version.

BTW, for the guy who wanted to set the smartkey to ring styles shortcut. Did you know that I put the shortcuts: Menu+3=loud Menu+6=Vibrate Menu+9=Silent With these it is quick and silent to change between sound settings without having to navigate the ring styles menu or repeatedly press the volume keys. I use this setup and I thought others would like it as well. I'll be checking posts again in a few hours, this 56k lifestyle is very different for me. |

This means different frequencies, like bass or midtones, could be individually adjusted for each of the speaker outputs. This can be why some firmwares "sound" better than others. Not really sure how it works however, its just a hunch. Right now I am not even sure it is controlled in gain_table.bin. |

Just spent over an hour waiting for a doctor watching an episode of the Simpson, listening to some tunes and then trying to beat my phone at chess ( bloody thing has beaten me every time ).
