am i able to download applications for a sk2. im thinking about getting one of those or a treo 650 (which u can download applications to) if you can download apps to sk2, what apps are available to get and how do i get them. that is going to be the deciding factor for me to get a sk2 or treo 650.

There are apps available in the SK's built-in catalog via Download for different prices. Custom apps can be uploaded via USB by Danger Developers.

also to let you know, it is VERY hard to get a developers key.

Well, I have both phones in question, so if being able to install apps is a major deciding factor, then definitely go for the Treo. You can install whatever the heck you want on that, but you're very limited with the sk2. Like rayman said, you need a developer key to install anything else & it's really hard to get one now. I was lucky enough to get mine back when the sk2 first came out, but good luck getting one now. The apps in the catalog are VERY limited too.

thanks. And what type of applications can you downlaod with the sk2? is stuff like e-wallet, and mp3 player, or dumb stuff like currency convertor?

Uuuuuuuhhh, lemme think... No mp3 player, no e wallet, yes there is a currency converter, there's like 2 or 3 tty apps, a calculator, alarm clock, aol mail, and yahoo messenger. Purty bleak selection if you ask me.

I think a smartphone would better suit you, more specifically the mpx220...
