The Picture ID on my LG VX4500 has started acting strange. I have 19 wallpapers loaded. All wallpapers appear correctly when browsing the contact list, but when sending or receiving calls some do not work properly. Wallpapers 1-14 work fine, 15 displays 18, 17 displays 19, and 18 and 19 are blank.

I recently upgraded to the latest version of Bitpim, and have deleted a few wallpapers off the phone, but I do not remember if I did it on the phone or through Bitpim. I deleted all wallpapers off the phone and reloaded them, and the problem persists.

Only thing I can figure is the phone is still holding places for the deleted wallpapers and shifting those appearing after them in the list.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

First a correction to the original post.

I only have 18 wallpapers loaded. When used as Picture ID's, 1-14 work correctly, a contact using 15, instead displays 17, and a contact using 16, instead displays 18. Contacts using 17 or 18 come up blank, not even the default picture.

Now, new information...

I tried to delete all wallpapers in the phone and reset it, but it did not delete 15 and 16. When I viewed the list in Bitpim, it showed 17 and 18 as the ones not deleted. If you view them on the phone, they are blank, but they still show up in the list. I tried deleting them through Bitpim too with no luck.

Anything else I can do, a file I can delete or something to fix this?

After screwing around some, I finially deleted all wallpapers in bitpim, sent the 'blank' information to the phone, which finially deleted the two remaining entries on the phone. I was then able to reload the wallpapers and they appear to be working fine for picture id's. I still don't know what caused this.

Would where and how I deleted or added wallpapers have something to do with this? Just want to know for future reference so I can avoid this in the future.
