LGVX6000 Ringtone Help

Okay, I'm trying to get a custom ringtone I made into my LGVX6000 phone without using a data cable. I have already compressed the ringtone into a 231 byte, 7 second MIDI file.
I am able to send the file from my Gmail account to my VZW account. I am able to receive the message and play the song, but when I try to "Save Sound", all I get is a message box that says "Error save sound." I have no idea what that means and why it is doing that. Does anyone have a clue?
Btw, my PRL version is 50284 and my ERI version is 50018.
