NEED HELP WITH SE44 and BITPIM!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just recently got a Kyocera SE-44. I orderd a cable on ebay and the cable reads that its an SE-47 cable. I've read that this cable works for both. However, when i plug it in and download all the drivers, Bitpim does not recognize it at all. My Kyocera Wireless PST program recognizes the phone, but Bitpim does not. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?? Do I have to get a new cable? Is there another program that will read this cable??

Please advise!

There are probably hundreds of threads on this very subject if you people would just read. For one make sure you have the latest bitpim two makes sure your com port setting is correct three make sure you have the phone setting for bitpim set to other cdma phones. If that doesn't work than I would have to say unplug your phone from the microwave drive to Best Buy (take the cable with you) go to the computer dept. find a sales person and tell them you need an oven to plug the cable into because your microwave hust isn't strong enough.
