I know this means that I have an unchecke message and it usually goes away when I check my inbox or my IMs. But now I don't have any messages anywhere and it's still flashing. Anyone know what it means? Thanks!

Blackberry, like any software-based device, sometimes experience the odd buggy quirk.

Try pulling the battery to reset the device. This should rectify the problem.

I had this problem last week, all i did was go to the IM section and goto the last person I im'd and it went away. GOOD LUCK!

go to Profile section
Edit "Default".

Turn off Repeat Notification (do nothing, as opposed to LED).. do that for everything (phone, messages, calendar, todo)...

that should do it.
