Newbie...8910 please help.

I have been trying to download some polyphonic tones to my Alltel Audiovox 8910, and clearly I do not know what I'm doing. There are some tones at www.zingy.com in the polyphonic section that I really want, but the zingy software on my phone doesn't have the polyphonic tones available. 
It may have already been explained 1,000 times, so I apologize if I'm offending anyone by asking, but this is sooo frustrating. I can get a cable that connects from my computer to my phone, so if I could get the tone on my computer, I could upload it, yes? But where do I find it and how do I get it on my computer? Help...newbie who is going crazy!!! Thanks in advance for any guidance and help. Amy

If you have a cable, there is no need to download from anysite except use your own mp3s and make your own ringtone.
