Hi, i recently bought a sidekick 2 and realized i only really wanted to use it for data and was wondering what kind of sim card i needed. i was told i could just get a tmobile to go sim card or prepaid, plug it into my phone and it should work at 1 dollar perday...if anyone else could confirm this or show me a link to a sim card that would work it would help me alot

I'm not sure about pre paid but I think you need to get a pre paid sidekick sim card. The sim should be 24 bones.. At least that's what they charged me for a new sim

you can buy any t-mobile pre-paid sim off of e-bay and then have the cust serv rep switch it to a sidekick sim

you can go to the mall and get a sim card from any store/ booth that sells tmobile phones.. or like a store outside of the mall.. any store that sells tmobile phones should have extra sim cards.. if not you can get a used sim card from somebody off the internet or if you have a deactivated sim card in a old phone then you can use it as long as you know the sim card number...
