Verizon CDM 8600 Voice Ringers work

Using Get It Now I was able to download a voice ringer into my CDM 8600. After a little investigating with a data cable I learned this was in qcp format even though it had a .mid extension. I found a few other qcp files around and have successfully made them work on the phone the same way mid files can be uploaded via data cable. I recorded a Voice Alert (Menu 9,5,2) and a file appeared in /VoiceDB/All/Memos/ called Mem00003.qcp. I copied this file over one of my existing ringers and could choose it as a ringer. The volume is low but I think this could be fixed by holding the phone against a speaker while recording.
