Do you know why you SK camera doesn't work anymore? If you do, just tell them the truth. They will probably replace your SK with a refurbished one unless your SK is fairly new then you should be getting a new SK replacement.

Good luck.

Your camera not working is a warranty issue - unless you took a pickaxe to the camera lens or somesuch then there should be no reason they wouldn't replace the device for you - no need to tell a story.

If you faxed in an application and have a developer key through that process, then you can email danger and get a replacement key. If you have a key from before January 2005 or so (through the "old" online method) then you'll have to reapply for a key - the new process is online also (not the faxed form) and should be up on Monday.

nothin happened to my camera. one day it just stopped working. someone told me that there was a batch that had a wiring defect with the camera, and that it is a known problem. i got my skii in november...will i get a new one or a refurbished? is gettin a refurbished that big of a deal?

also, is it an easy process to re-get a dev. key? cause i know how much of a pain it is to get one now without already having one...?

THANKS GUYS...

Depending on your Service Centre, Danger DOES have the camera as a replaceable part, so I dont see why they would OTC the entire unit for just a simple defective camera, now, if the camera is not at fault, and a processor chip is causing the camera to fail, then they will most likely OTC the phone.

Odds You Will Get a Refurbished unit? 100%!! There is no way out of it. You can request a new unit all you want but now way you will get one. T-mobile reps can request a new unit but the repair centre makes the final call on that descision.

Hello, I'm planning on getting a SKII sometime soon, and have been reading alot about a 'developers key'. I'd just like to know what it is. I'm not a software developer or anything, I'd just like to know. Would the SKII not be able to function w/out a key? Would it be any less functional? I remember reading that you could get free apps with one, how much do the apps usually run?
