Is it possible ot get the Sidekick I on prepaid Services with the Web/texy/aol features?

I have an Old Sidekick I (Color) and figured i could put it to use

I should work, atleast this is what I was told by a t-mobile prepaid rep. Call them up to confirm. You will either have to have a prepaid sim actiavted before march 1st, or buy a kit.

it a sk activation kit you have to purchase. it runs about $50 and comes with a $25 card, there is no way around it. it will include your phone and what not.

I may be wrong on this, but I'm almost *positive* that you can't activate a SK1 on prepaid - there was a specific OS update to the SK2s to be able to make them handle prepaid, and there's no such update for the SK1 as far as I know.

Be verry careful listening to what a dealer will tell you in order to make a sale. Check with a corporate store or customer service to doublecheck what you're told.

NO!!!! the sidekick 1 will not wok on the prepaid sidekick dataplan... dont waste your time...

what is everyone talking about it does work the only problem is that some of the features dont work as using #999# and small things like that. I have 3 sidekicks and im using all of them in prepaid and never had a problem !

I know for a fact it will work. I did it for a while. I am 100 percent sure it works. DOnt let people who havent tried it tell u

I know, I went in to purchase the activation kit, and they gave me a phone anyways one of the freebies with prepaid. So now I had a backup.
