Treo600 Crapped out on me. =\

So i've had the phone for just over a month, and couple days ago it, it locked up on me(not first time) so i did a hard reset. Afterwards it wouldn't boot back up, it would just flash a white screen every 2-3 seconds. And then after doing that for a good 10minutes, it asked me if i wanted to reset all data.

I said no and it continued flashing until it asked again, finally i said yes, it booted with it set back to factory.

No my question is, is this common? should i return the phone?
because i did lose a lot of data on my calendar and stuff.

Hmmm.. Being common.. I don't think so.. Or rather I should hope not. As for all the stuff you lost, you should really consider getting a program to backup your info. I recommend Backupman. It does the job well. The only thing it hasn't saved is my media, but I keep all my pics and vids on the SD card anyway. It saves all your contacts and calendar too.

The point of a hard reset is to trash all the data and restore the Treo to factory settings... That said, Lannie is spot on w/the Backup Manager advice. I can do a hard reset and be back in action in about 1 minute.

Whats that code u input to get the error log on the 600?

*377 then Dial
