Can this device read chinese text in the MP3 player? Also does this device have a 3.5mm jack or a 2.5mm jack? Does it play stereo music? Does Pocket PC software run on the smartphones? I'm under the impression that it does cuz BB mentioned running co-pilot GPS software on the smartphone and someone mentioned using Betaplayer. Thanks!

1. Not sure about the chinese text - I am sure someone else here will answer you.
2. It is 2.5 mm jack
3. It does play stereo music
4. No PPC software do not run on smartphones (co-pilot and betaplayer has seperate programs for PPC and smartphones)

I can answer two of 'em. It has a 2.5mm jack, and it has REALLY GOOD stereo sound. My expectations were exceeded in every way.

not too sure myself but if you check in the smartphone section in this forum you can probably find the answer.

Hmmm I dunno never had a chinese mp3 to test it on. The 5600 uses media player 10 so I suppose if that does then it will..

I think it's like Windows. In order for Windows XP to read Chinese texts, a language pack has to be installed or else the characters will appear as jibberish. I'm just amazed that no one here can verify it. Maybe they're participating at a different forum..
