AIM application for SMT 5600?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just got my Cingular SMT 5600, and I love it, but one question. It only includes MSN Messenger, anyone I know is only on AIM. Is there any way to get an AIM program for MS Smartphones? I wanted Verichat since I loved that program on my Treo, but the Pocket PC version does not install on the SMT 5600. Anyone know of how to make Verichat work on this phone, or any other AIM application?

There are several, Agile Messenger and imov Messenger being a couple. Agile connects directly to the various services it supports while imov connects via a jabber service and can work through a proxy server. Use google to find them and others.

Slightly off the topic, does anyone know of a good Smartphone Alarm Clock utility, one that's free preferably, since I've already seen Citytime Alarm for $10.

Would just like it to be able to set the alarm for certain days of the week only, and have the alarm repeat till you press a key. If anyone can suggest a good free one that would be great =)

I tried to download Agile for my 5600 but it said the file could not be displayed and would not download it, is there some special way to do this?

Download it to your PC, ActiveSync your phone, and install it that way. I've never downloaded it directly to the phone. The download on their site is, in fact, an .EXE file, which means you must install it using a Windows PC.

Cheers!

I cannot get Agile Mobile to work on my phone. I have a Verizon VX6700. I downloaded the file to my desktop and then Adsynced it to my phone. When I tried to open the file on my phone, it says AgileMessengerWMSP is not a vald Pocket PC application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
