Bluetooth Question for SMT5600

I got an SMT5600 from Cingular today and when I tried to x-fer a file from my computer to the phone I get a message on my computer that says, "The device does not have the nessesary services" and it wont let me x-fer the file, how do I fix this so I can send my phone files/

Yes the 5600 has BT, I got it to work, never would have guessed that to use bluetooth you would have to activate settings in the IR menu, but whatever

I'm using one on Rogers and the BT works fine. The only thing that seems to not want to work with BT is ActiveSync..

It works for me! I have the MPx 220 but it works the same on the SMT 5600. You should check out my OLD blog for instructions on how to get this to work with the widcomm drivers.

Bluetooth works great on my 5600. The only thing that I notice and don't like is that it does not support file browsing from another device.

For example, from my pc, I can browse files on my Dell Axim, but not on the phone. It's not a big deal at all though.

I also have bluetooth sync working fine.

With the new 1.39 ROM OBEX finally works corectly (MPx 220) I can explore the files on my phone either via a BT ActiveSync connection or by connecting thru the OBEX service.
