Okay so I could use some advice re: T-mobile. Perhaps it should go in that forum I don't know.

I work in a bar and a girl spilled an entire drink on my SKII and fried it.

Any suggestions on what I can say/do to get it replaced? (I realize that I am at fault -[sort of]).

Should I say that the battery doesn't hold a charge? What else works? Is it gonna come back to me when I send back the old phone?

Thanks in advance!

There is a water-damage strip which indicates whether the phone has sustained any serious water-damage to the internal components....that strip is checked when you send it in for a replacement and you will be charged an out of warranty fee - so lying wouldnt do you good.

How much is the fee? I mean, am I going to pay for a complete new device?

Anyone know what replacement will cost?

the fee is $70

Ask the girl who spilled the drink on it to pay for the repair cost, since she caused the damage.
