I just bought an ngage qd from ebgames. I put in an unlock code which game me the message "sim lock removed" or something close to that. I didn't try out the phone before I unlocked it, but after unlocking it some of the buttons wouldn't work. The un/down on the 4 way button and the Options button on the bottom left both seemed disabled. Was this because I unlocked the phone.

I returned the phone and got my money back, but I would like to know in case I get another ngage so I don't repeat the mistake.

I wouldnt see why unlocking the phone would cause the buttons to stop working....I would have to say no that when you unlocked it it didnt effect the buttons.

there is no way that unlocking did that, as it has nothing to do with the controls... sounds like a defective unit to me.

get another one and enjoy!
