i just recently found a sk2 mint condition n i wen to call the guy i even left messages no one has called me bak for 1 week so i decided to keep it for my self he has already cancelled his service n stuff but his name n s/n is still in the phone is there ne way to activate this phone? ive tried askin people but they just told me that its very dangerous to do n **** but i kno theres a way around it can sum one help me? thnx

You can reactivate the phone. As long as he hasn't barred the phone from being used or reported the phone to the police as lost or stolen, you are good. Just call T-Mobile and let them know you're looking to activate your Sidekick. When you give them the IMEI number for the Sidekick, they'll let you know what blocks or restrictions are on the phone.
