I will recieve my Verizon 650 tomorrow.

What will be the best way for me to move some of my apps (such as agendus, splashphoto, splashid) to the new phone? I use Card Backup and have a 512 meg SD card. Computer is a Mac.

Thanks!

Hello martinreu,

This is Kevin from palmOne. The palmOne Knowledge Library article "Handheld Upgrade Guide for Treo 650" has information on moving applications over to the Treo 650. Check under the "Re-install third-party applications" and you'll find the procedure.

Sincerely
Kevin

Before you transfer any applications to your 650, check the Software Compatibility List for the Treo 650. They have good info on newer versions of older apps that you need for the 650.

I'm a Mac user too, and the Palm Desktop software that came with my Treo 650 (GSM unbranded from PalmOne) had two disks - one for Windows and one for Mac. The Mac software works just like the Windows, so you install the Palm Desktop from the disk and then sync in your apps and documents the same way as with Windows. Seemless, easy, stable, just like it should be!
