KX2 Camera Settings

Ok so I have a KX2 and a LG VX8000. I believe they are both 1.3 mpix or around there. The camera on the 8000 looks incredible. However, the camera on the kx2 always seems to have a white "fog" look to the screen. I have cleaned the lens and compared every setting to the 8000 and they match. Is my phone defective or is the camera just not up to par with the 8000?
