I would like to add 1 or more custom sounds in place of the standard message alerts. I've heard of a specific program somewhere called LGET_____? (can't remember the full name) but have not been able to successfuly download it. Supposedly lets you edit the entire library of sounds on this and other Nokia phones.

I know there is a tutorial site for the Vox 8910, but do those methods apply to the 6585 as well? ...Keeping in mind it's not the ringtones I want to edit, it's the messages alerts which you cannot change by menu selection in the phone.

There was a post somewere (Sprint?) about putting ringtones on the 6225i, and it worked with the 6585 also. I'd search for that.

There is a major difference in how you do things with those two phones, btw.
