I have a question for all Sharp 902 / 902SH owners. How do you think about it? I was able to take a look at one and it has some nice specs. But it felt a little flimsy. I am considering buying one and I wanted to know if you all could give me some real feedback.

I love it. The only complaint I have is that you cant save numbers if you are on the phone with someone. The option to change the flashlight color is helpful too, because with my tm200, the pics would be bluish, even tho the light was white.

I love the Mp3 player. I got a 1gb card loaded with all my mp3s in my phone. However, its a big drain on the battery. My phone probably lasts for only a day if I listen to my mp3s over 4 hours. If you want to listen to mp3s, make sure u get the UK 902 and not the JDM version.

THis is my first camera phone and mp3 player, so sorry I have nothing to compare it to. You can click on the link in my sig to see some pics I took from it.

Thanks for the info! I have a few other questions. How do you think the quality of the night pics are and Video quality? Do you think that it is flimsy?

I just don't know if I should buy one or wait for the Toshiba TS 921 to come out.

night pics can come out pretty good if you use the right setting and video quality is amazing

I just got my 902... havent used it much so I can't post a detailed review but will once I use the fone some more. So far so good though, I like it better than my TM200.

Same here i'm reading all the info i can before buying this phone and must say i'm a little scared. If i understand correctely i have to but the european version and not the japenese, but somebody said in here that most unlocked units out there are japenese ones. Also, what would be the best source to get the phone that you people know and know they will deliver the good model even if the price is higher . Better spend $100 more and get the good stuff. One more thing is the screen so much nicer than the gx 25 ??

I was told that there will be a sx813 firmware coming out within a few weeks to load to the japanese 902sh. That should resolve all the problem within the japanese 902sh like re-provisioning, loading mp3 file to play, etc.

From the store EasyCell. I was told that people in HK are working on it trying to get the firmware out of sx813 and transfer it to 902sh. Is that possible? or just rumor?

its kinda like the same rumor that we heard for gx30.....but after almost a year we still have to see it to believe it.

Are you serious? Hmm.. in that case.. I better off get the Sony Ericsson K750. I don't want to take the risk with the rumor. Cuz Japanese 902sh can't play mp3 unless you convert it. No mp3 ringtone. Beside the 902sh size is alot bigger than the SE K750. Very difficult to put in the pant pocket.

But there are few advantages of 902 over K750

1) Full screen video playback
2) TV out
3) Better mp3 player
4) Better video recording
5) Flip design (depending on your taste, that might be con)

If you can get hold of one, then just get the UK version of 902 and u won't have any problems

I would get the v902 is a flash, but I like the titanium grey casing better. Can't make up my mind.

sx813 software won't solve the mp3 problem, and it runs much slower than 902sh's

in HK, if you really want to read/type Chinese, otherwise no one would buy that sx813...
