Link from post 1 is dead. Accessing this site from mobile devices with PIE by typing the wap.howardforums.com address results in redirection to 'normal' www.howardforums.com instead. (just tested on 3 diff. devices: if PIE is set to be identified as Blazer it goes to www instead of wap; it is also not detected properly when PIE identifies itself as PIE on ipaq running WM2003SE, but it was correctly detected on ipaq running WM5...) The administrators of this website shouldn't support applying any "registry hacks", but should have push the website hosting company to ditch their buggy browser autodetection and use standard wml code for wap version of this site instead, and I think it is not too much to ask for? |
