Technically, that's not a trial. It seems their new policy is to have someone buy the product, and then request a refund if they're not completely satisfied within 30 days.

I've already purchased the product...quite some time ago. But if this strong-arm tactic had been utilized at the time I was interested in evaluating, I would have simply found another product, or done without.

One shouldn't have to go through the hassel of getting a refund if a product doesn't work. It should be given on a trial basis.

Okay. Enough of my rant on their new business rule.

I didn't notice that until you just posted. The last time I was at the their site (not that long ago) you could still get a demo. I agree with you though, strong arming tactics make me turn the other way.

jojo-

The only other software for Smartphones that I found that is a backup utility is "ALL-backup".
Go here http://www.all-locations.com/ and view their smartphone programs.

Has anyone used the ALL-Backup trial version It wont let me activate it and i just wanna go back to 1.03 because 1.39 is nothing but problems for me.

i wouldn't restore a 1.39 based backup to a 1.30 ROM. i would recommend going back to the Cingular ROM, and then reinstall your programs. yes, i know it's a pain in the a**, but its a clean install. once you get everything right, i'd consider buying Sprite Backup. it's unfortunate that you couldn't try it first (before spending your hard earned money), but i can tell you that it's a good product. 2-3 times a month, i hard-reset my phone then restore from a Sprite Backup file created after I configured the phone to my liking.
