Microsoft Smartphone Email Client

I am trying to set up my company email on my I-Mate Smartphone 2. I already have it configured on MS Outlook on my laptop, and I tried to use the same settings, but I found that the I-Mate Email Client does not have all of the same options.
Specifically, I have to use my company's mail server for the incoming POP3 server (which has its own username and password login), and I have to use my ISP's mail server for the outgoing SMTP server (which has a different username and password login). In MS Outlook, there is an option to check a box where the outgoing server requires authentication, and then either choose to use the same login info as the incoming server, or use different login info. However, in the I-Mate Email client, there is no choice to use a different username and password for the outgoing server. I think it just automatically tries to use the same login info for the incoming server.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use a different username and password for the outgoing server authentication than the incoming server, and if so, how to input it into the Smartphone 2?
Thanks!

I don't have a direct answer, but maybe a "work around".
Try using Comcast's server, it doesn't require login.
smtp.comcast.net
I've done this at work when our isp's smtp would go down.
( my isp at work is a local isp not comcast)

Thanks for the help. The comcast server didn't work for me. I just filled that one in for the outgoing server instead of my ISP, and I did not check the box that said "requires authentication." I tried sending an email from my company account using my phone to another email account on my laptop, but I got the error message. Did I miss something?

recently comcast changed their network (faster speeds, shorter dhcp leases)
maybe they changed their policy on accepting smtp email , I don't know, but I thought it was worth a try.
but really you should be able to use any smtp servers, many email service providers(earthlink for example) don't "provide" a smtp, they say you can use your own isp, maybe try a verizon dsl smtp. I don't know the address( of verizon) but I would continue maybe with this idea.
For example maybe at home you use a different isp other than comcast, try changing the smtp of your home desktop computer to smtp.comcast.net and see if that works.
If so than you know it's your phone settings and not your smtp choice.
