i cant get the bitpim to reconize my phone i have tried 4 drivers and none of them work got a ratshack cable cant figure this out

What does the cable look like?

Is it a straight cable or does it have a chip in the middle of it.

What does it have any numbers on the cable?

I got it from ratshack it's a future dail 170--792 with a chip in the middle cable #19 on the box
no numbers on the cable

just load the cable driver from futuredial onto your PC.
its basically a usb to serial adapter (nothing to do with the phone actually), then set the data port of your phone to rs232.

I'm using bitpim 7.32 maybe this is the problem?????
