So, I just bought my XV6600 and after a few days of playing with it have found a few concerns...

1) There doesn't seem to be a way to set individualized ringers for each contact - this was a feature that I had on all of my other previous phones (well in the last 6 years that is) and I have come to where I use it a lot. I've been trying to find a piece of software that will accomplish this task, but have not yet found one... anyone know of anything?

2) Apparently, this phone does not have Photo Caller ID either, I did however find a piece of software to do that - PocketX's Photo Contacts - does anyone know anything about this? good? bad? is there a better solution?

3) Lastly, while I have learned how to make my own ringers (seems they HAVE to WAVs or MIDs though - which is a bummer because I wanted to use MP3s)... Unfortunately, I cannot seem to figure out how to make custom ringers for events (such as receiving a new SMS or e-mail)... I'm not necessarily concerned with having "cool" even ringers... I just want LOUD ringers... because apparently the XV6600's default ringers are EXTREMELY soft... and I need to know when I get a new SMS, especially if it is from one of the server monitors at work - anyone know how to do this?

Any help that you might be able to give would be awesome...

As far as the other features on the phone, so far, so good... I'll post more as I learn more...

That is a pocket PC my friend you need to go to the Pocket PC forum with this issue, they will be able to help you more than most people here I believe.
