I've tried searching the forum for information about the 'Phone Status' on the T610/T630 and couldn't find it so I'll ask directly.....

I've flashed my T610 to all the T630 firmware but my 'Phone Status' (the screen you get by pressing + or - keys) still states it's a T610.

Is there anyway to get it to tell me it's a T630 and if so, how?

Hey, I'm looking to convert my t610 to t630 and wondered if you had any pointers.
I'll be using Semctool and a t-28 cable(this should work right?)
I currently have :
R1S001 prgCXC12-5600.US.3
R1S001 prgCXC12-5586.TAE.US.3

on this thing.

Well firstly, I used a Terminator Dongle to rewrite the whole phone to T630 software....the only way I knew how.

Secondly, I am not proficient enough to be able to confirm your intended method will work.

Finally, I'm British but the flash files I used should work fine with an American/US handset.

Can a T610 be flashed successfully to a T630 without having to change any phone parts i.e covers, keypad, boards to T630 ones?
