Can someone help me with volume issues on my v600? I have many phone calls where I cannot hear my caller on volume level 7. There must be a way to hack this.

this happened to me and i got a new phone from cingular for it as i couldnt fix it my self even with a mod. but you can try editing the gain_table file on your phone via p2k tools and see if that does it for you.

do a search for motokit, this and your moto usb cable will allow you to increase the volume level by alot.

also occurs in the v300: v300 fix

i tried the seem edit with no availe. as soon as i find a how to on disassembling the v600 i'll try the above quoted fix

I have a V600 / Tmobile which initially had low volume
in the earpiece - P2Ktools fixed it for me. That should
take care of your low volume.

By the way, what is the 'answering machine' option?
I enabled it but it doesn't seem to do anything.
