EBGames' Ngage - installation problems

So my little bro went and bought an Ngage QD from EBgames the other day. We got it home (no MMC or game) and played with it a bit, the menus are really different from my 6620. One thing I found, though, when I tried to install FrozenBubble that I use on my 6620, it got nearly through the installation, then said "Program not licensed by Symbian, unable to install" or something like that. I recalled a while back hearing that Symbian (Nokia) was going to start requireing programs to have their licensing on it before you could install it to the phone. It's possible that they have begun initiating this, and on these new Ngages. Anyone else found this out??

I installed frozen bubble on my n-gage qd a couple of days ago, works fine for me.

well that makes me want the phone again. Perhaps I wasn't doing something right, or wrong version or something. I was just trying to install a program that I had lying around. And while we're on the subject, I couldn't find where to change themes on the thing, as that was the first thing I was going to change. I didn't like how the menu was setup, either, but that's just a matter of having an hour to sit there.

I don't think you can change the themes, but you can change the menu layout from grid to list.

Really?? I was under the impression that since it's s60, it can use themes. That kinda sucks. Is there any way to change the icons or background pic in menu or anything??

i think you got frozen bubble for S60 7.0 which is what your 6620 and you QD is on a s60 6.0 platform. thats why games/apps for my n-gage doesn't work for my gf on her 6600. even tho i installed the aps on my MMC and swaped the MMC into her phone. Some apps works and some don't. Just some programs have to be on a certain platform and some dont.
