M55 wont recieve pics via MMS | Can I unlock CX65 in Canada

I have two guestions so i would thank you all for helping me.

My friend sent me pictures to my siemens m55 via MMs and I got it but I cant open it. We are on the same Fido network. When I try to open -recieve picture i get eror >"Network or configuration error" Fido says I need to take my phone to the technition....**** what could be the problem? I reciueved pics last month from my other friend all worked good...

2nd. I am buying CX65 from UK and it is on British providors. Would I have a problem unlocking it here in Toronto? I have not seen any CX65 here in Toronto so I need to know.
